HOW WE WORK

Find the real problem.
Build the fix. Make it stick.

Most companies don't need another complicated tool. They need to know why something keeps going wrong, what to do about it, and how to make the solution part of the normal working day. We work in four stages. Not every company needs all four.

01

A free conversation

Start by telling me how your business works and what keeps getting in the way. We'll talk through the problem, ask a few direct questions, and see whether working together makes sense. No prepared presentation. No commitment.

  • Understand the business and the recurring problem
  • Decide whether working together makes sense
02

Diagnosis and solution design

Before changing a system, we need to understand what is actually happening. We look at the relevant workflows, responsibilities, information, and results. We identify the bottlenecks, separate symptoms from causes, and design solutions that fit the way your company operates.

  • Clear written diagnosis
  • Practical recommendations and priorities
  • A plan you can implement yourself or with us
03

Custom implementation

A good plan is useless if it stays in a document. We can build and install work orders, procedures, checklists, reporting, responsibilities, training, and software where it helps.

  • Agreed project scope and deliverables
  • Working tools, routines and responsibilities
  • Rollout, training and adjustments
04

Ongoing verification and improvement

Once the system is running, we check whether people are using it and whether the results are improving. Ongoing support is a separate, clearly scoped agreement—not an unlimited consulting subscription.

  • Review the important numbers
  • Deal with breakdowns and improve routines
  • Keep the system useful as the business changes
WHAT WE WORK ON

The operating problem comes first.

Production budgets. Foreman accountability. Job preparation. Crew scheduling. Materials and equipment. Scope changes. Job costing. Estimating. Quotes. Follow-ups. Management reporting. Owner interruptions.

These are examples, not a list of software products. We choose the simplest useful tool for the problem.

WHO THIS IS FOR

Growing painting companies.

If you run one small crew, the free resources might be all you need right now. Once you're coordinating multiple crews, delegating decisions, tracking production and trying to keep standards consistent, the need for better systems grows quickly.

We often focus on companies with a few crews up to larger multi-crew operations. The complexity changes with size, so the solution does too.
